Television Access and Programming
CHTV
Each room in the Children’s Hospital has a television connected to cable TV channels free of charge. The rooms also have DVD players for patient use. You may bring your own movie DVDs or borrow one from the Book Corner Library.
Featured on channel 7, CHTV is a closed-circuit television station exclusively for HSC Children’s Hospital. It provides age-appropriate, commercial-free television programming every day. “The Good Day Show” is a live, interactive show that broadcasts from 1:00-2:00 pm Monday-Friday and features Noname, the pizza-loving puppet! It rebroadcasts at 4:00 pm. Patients are encouraged to participate by playing games, doing crafts or even appearing on TV!

You may also bring in your personal media devices, such as iPads, e-readers, music players, and laptops. Headphones are recommended, as many rooms are shared with another patient and family. The hospital offers free Bell MTS Wi-Fi which can be accessed from your child’s room and in all public areas. Please remember to bring the appropriate charger for your device(s).
