The boot camp consists of a 4-hour session during which Med III students rotate through three stations: neonate, child, and adolescent. You will be teaching in only one of these stations, but will see three groups per 4 hour period. The students will be in each station for 1 hour and 10 minutes and breaks will be interspersed. In each station, the students will receive teaching on how to approach a history and physical examination for that age group. An age-appropriate standardized patient (or mannequin for neonates) will be present in each station. This is valued as 4 hours of direct teaching for Department workload expectations for each half day that you teach in.
